Bronx detectives are looking for five men who allegedly carjacked a man at gunpoint in Crotona Park earlier this month.

According to the NYPD, on Oct. 5, at 2:25 a.m., a 56-year-old cab driver was in front of 801 Crotona Park North picking up five men. However, things took a turn for the worse as they brandished a gun and demanded his property and car.

They fled the scene in the taxi cab driver’s Toyota Camry and abandoned it in front of 720 E. 141 St., and fled on foot eastbound on East 141 Street.

The crooks stole two cellphones, a Nike bag and approximately $130.

The suspects are described as five dark-skinned males, approximately 17-21 years of age.

Anyone with information regarding this pattern is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782).
