Leonard Hawkins American Legion Post 156 hosted the annual City Island Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 28. Local organizations marched up City Island Avenue to the veterans memorial traffic circle for a ceremony honoring our nation’s fallen soldiers.
A wreath was placed at the base of Pelham Cemetery’s flag pole dedicated to fallen veterans.
