Community Justice Connect partnered with the nonprofit Hot Bread Kitchen on Wednesday, April 2, to host a training program focused on job placement and financial empowerment opportunities offered by the organization.

Zaynab Sulaiman, First Course Program Coordinator at Hot Bread Kitchen, led the session and discussed key topics such as time commitment, financial support offered by the program, job placement opportunities, and eligibility requirements.

Hot Bread Kitchen is dedicated to helping economically disadvantaged New Yorkers access employment and career opportunities within the city’s food industry. The organization offers a range of services, including job skills training, tailored job placement, food entrepreneurship programs, and a comprehensive network of wraparound support.
Toward the end of the training session, attendees received informational flyers about Hot Bread Kitchen, including details on how to apply to the Bronx location, available stipends, and additional program offerings.
