Cops looking for group that beat up an old man in the south Bronx

Police are looking for several men that assaulted a senior man near 169th Street in the south Bronx earlier this month.

A 68-year-old man reportedly became engaged in a verbal dispute with the men in front of a building on Union Avenue at about 1:50 a.m. on Friday, May 8.

The dispute quickly escalated to a physical altercation as the men proceeded to punch the victim multiple times in his head, eye, and about his body before they fled in unknown direction, according to NYPD reports.

Police in the 42nd Precinct said  that victim was treated at Lincoln Hospital for lacerations to both his eye and hand.

The NYPD also released this footage of the suspects.
