Police are investigating a vicious stabbing that happened in Van Nest last weekend in the 43rd Precinct.
A 29-year-old man reportedly got into a verbal dispute with the unknown assailant outside of 1840 E. Tremont Ave. at about 11:55 a.m. on Saturday, June 6.
That argument became physical shortly after and the man pulled a knife on the 29-year-old, stabbing the man repeatedly on his arms, chest, and legs according to the NYPD.
Law enforcement sources said that the attacker fled eastbound onto East Tremont Avenue on a bicycle.
EMS personnel transported the victim to Saint Barnabas Hospital in stable condition.
Police describe the individual wanted for questioning in this incident is described as having a dark complexion and is about 20 to 30 years in age.
