Over 200 members of the Bronx Muslim community joined Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. to celebrate Ramadan and honor leading individuals on Thursday, June 16 at Lehman College. This year’s honorees included NYPD captain Jamiel Altaheri; Hisham Elzanaty, Uptown Health Care Management and Mohammed Mujumder, Bangladesh-American Community Council president.
