Bronx Center resident Eloisa Rivera celebrated her 100th birthday on Saturday, December 24 at 1010 Underhill Avenue.
Born in Puerto Rico, Rivera settled on the west side of the island in a town called Mayaguez West where she married and raised three children, two daughters and a son.
The family emigrated to New York in the 1970s when her daughter was four-years-old.
Although divorced, Rivera loves to dance and enjoyes being with her family.
She also has twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
