Attendees enjoyed live performances, guest DJs, bouncy houses, games, giveaways, food, drinks, and a sense of togetherness. The La Jara Band also performed for all present. La Jara Band is the NYPD’s first-ever Hispanic police band whose efforts in bridging the gap between the community and the police through music and love has been noticed by many.

The La Jara Youth All Stars also performed with nine-year-old Justin Lopez on piano, 11-year-old Simon Cifuentes on bass, 17-year-old Angel Dionisio Paz on trumpet, 19-year-old Onorio on bongos, and 17-year-old Daveed Chong’s vocals.
