Councilman James Vacca and the New York Botanical Garden visited Throgs Neck Extended Care on Friday, April 22 to present a donation of orchids from NYBG’s recently concluded special orchid exhibit, ‘The Orchid Show Orchidelirium’. Every year, the NYBG hosts the Orchid Show and upon its conclusion, works with Bronx elected officials to find suitable homes for the donated orchids.
