Getting into the spirit of the season, the Friends of Pelham Bay Park hosted their spring fundraiser last Thursday, April 7 at the Pelham Split Rock Golf Clubhouse to honor three special friends who help support Pelham Bay Park. This year’s exemplary honorees included Bobby Gonzalez, Bronx Native American Festival event coordinator and host; Sandi Lusk, Family Fun Day event organizer and Robert Sancho, Orchard Beach Summer Concert Series organizer, who were each presented plaques recognizing their contributions and support for the NYC’s largest park.
