Riverdale residents and Black Jewish Movement leaders marched through Riverdale and held a vigil at Riverdale Monument on Thursday, August 4 to demand police accountability and that NYC Council pass the Right to Know Act. Organized by Jews for Racial and Economic Justice, the rally was a multiracial event to share their outrage and grief about police violence through song, prayer and ritual.
