Senator Jeff Klein announced $600,000 in funding for Stand Up to Violence, an innovative program using a community approach in addressing gun violence, during National Night Out Against Crime on Tuesday, August 2.The senator joined Assemblyman Luis Sepulveda; Councilwoman Annabel Palma, captain Fausto Pichardo, 43rd Precinct commanding officer, 43rd Precinct Community Council and SUV to speak out against gun violence and the program’s work in the 43rd Precinct.
