An annual international food festival served up the best culturally diverse dishes the Bronx has to offer. Senator Jeff Klein and Assemblyman Mark Gjonaj hosted the ninth annual Allerton Avenue International Food Festival on Saturday, July 16 at Allerton and Barnes avenues. The celebration featured a food tasting competition; live musical performances by Jumpin’ Dragons and Gene DiNapoli and several family-friendly activities such as face painting, bounce houses and hayrides.
