Community and law enforcement leaders joined relatives in remembering the late 41st Precinct police officer Thomas Ruotolo at his street co-naming ceremony on Thursday, February 14 at Southern Boulevard between Intervale and Longwood avenues. Thirty-five years ago, Ruotolo was killed in the line of duty by a wanted felon while he was responding to a moped robbery in the south Bronx.

Police officer Ruotolo’s family, NYPD and public officials paid their respects to the fallen police officer 35 years later.
