M.S. 101 and P.S. 304 hosted an opening reception for its student artwork exhibition in the school’s main lobby at 2750 Lafayette Avenue on Tuesday, June 21. The Bridging the Arts fourth, fifth and sixth graders were able to create a collage piece inspired by Kandinsky’s concentric circles, a painted self-portrait inspired by Andy Warhol and a 3-D tunnel book complete with Sculpey clay characters. These art pieces will become part of the Legacy Project which is funded by a grant from NYC Department of Education.
