Man Dies In Westchester Square Collision

A pedestrian was fatally struck in Westchester Square last week. According to police, a 53-year-old man was struck and killed by a SUV as he attempted to cross East Tremont Avenue at St. Peters Avenue on Thursday, July 13 at 9:50 p.m. The victim, whose identity was not released, was walking south across East Tremont Avenue when a 2000 Lincoln Navigator traveling west slammed into him.
