Man steals e-bike, goes missing shortly after in west Bronx

Police are looking for a now reported missing man that was last seen stealing an e-bike on Jerome Avenue in broad daylight earlier this month.

The unknown man was last recorded on security cameras outside of Jimbo’s Restaurant in the 46th Precinct at about 1:50 p.m on Monday, May 11.

In the video, the suspect is seen approaching a chain locked electronic bike and using a pair of bolt cutters to break the harness.

That man, who police describe as between 20 and 30 years old, fled with the $1,700 valued bike to parts unknown and has not been seen since.

Police released this footage of the man.
