Despite the rainy weather, many Bronxites paid their respects at the Morris Park Community Association, American Legion, Knights of Columbus and Morris Park Kiwanis Club sponsored Memorial Day Ceremony at Rudy Macina Peace Memorial Plaza on Monday, May 29.
The heartfelt ceremony featured a wreath laying ceremony, the raising of the colors to the mournful sound of ‘Taps’ and addresses by local elected officials and veterans.
