A rally was held in front of Jack D. Weiler Hospital of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine on Wednesday, February 13 to raise awareness of an overcrowded Emergency Department and an overabundance of hallway beds.

Additional issues include a nurse to patint ratio of 1:20, overcrowding leaving some patients not to be seen or admitted for three or more days and no cardiac monitors for patients with heart issues.

Nurses addressed fair contract for patients and nurses.
