Mount Students Visit Cuba

Partnering with Education First Tours, Mount St. Michael Academy sent one of the first groups of American student to Cuba. Six students from grades nine through 12 along with a chaperone spent nine days exploring Cuba during the Easter Break. The group toured a number of different cities and historic places including La Vieja Habana, the cities of Trinidad, Cienfuegos and Santa Clara, the Cigar Factory, Ernest Hemingway’s house, the Sugar Cane Museum, the Palace of Pottery and the National Cuban Circus.
