Mount Vernon man murdered in Williamsbridge

A 35-year-old man was stabbed to death last week in Williamsbridge.

According to the NYPD, On July 30, at 7 p.m., police responded to a call of an assault at 808 E. 227 St. Upon arrival, officers found Jesse Jackson, 14 Martens Place in Mount Vernon, with multiple stab wounds to his body lying unconscious and unresponsive.

EMS transported Jackson to Montifiore Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
