New Balance Bronx 10-Mile & 5K Races

More than 10,000 runners made tracks through the Bronx for the exhilarating New Balance Bronx Ten Mile and 5K on Sunday, September 25. The ten and 5K races both started on the Grand Concourse and finished near Yankee Stadium with runners in the ten-mile passing such local landmarks as the New York Botanical Garden. Brian Hill of Central Park Track Club – New Balance and Annie Onishi were named the winners of the 5K. Tekeste Nekatibeb of the West Side Runners was declared the male winner of ten mile. Two-time U.S. Olympian and New Balance athlete Kim Conley took home the gold in the women’s race.
