NYC Organics Expands Services

NYC Department of Sanitation announced the upcoming expansion of NYC Organics in the Bronx including the expansion of curbside service and drop-off sites and open enrollment for all high-rise buildings and institutions on Wednesday, May 24 at BronxWorks Fresh Food Box at 1130 Grand Concourse.

Starting on Wednesday, June 7, the NYC Organics program will collect food scraps, food-spoiled paper and yard waste from drop-off sites on East Tremont Avenue-West Farms Square, East Fordham Road between Webster and Third avenues, West Fordham Road and Jerome Avenue, Msgr. Del Valle Square by Bruckner Boulevard, Brook Avenue and East 138th Street, 3rd Avenue and East 149th Street, East 149th Street and Grand Concourse and East 161st Street at Yankee Stadium and Gerard Avenue.
