Cops are searching for a pair of brazen thieves who hit up several Bronx businesses and stole their ATMs last month.

According to police, the stealing spree started unsuccessfully on Tuesday, June 2 around 2:20 a.m. Three unidentified men tried entering the PLS Check Cashing place on East 233rd Street in Wakefield by “breaking the glass door with a crow bar and fireworks.”

After their futile attempts, police reports said that they fled the scene in an unknown direction.

That same morning, the men hit up at Clean Rite location on Bronx Boulevard. At around 4 a.m., the theives told a laundromat employee that they were taking the ATM. They removed the unit from the wall and walked out of the location to a waiting car.

They then fled the scene north on Bronx Boulevard, according to the NYPD.

A few days later, the thieves struck again, this time at River Road Motor Inn on Webster Avenue. On June 6 at about 4:40 a.m., police reported that two men walked into the building, removed the ATM from the wall and walked it outside to their waiting vehicle.

The pair fled the scene southbound on Bronx River Parkway. Police said that they were in a “tan Acura SUV.”

Weeks later the crew paid a visit to Tony’s Pizza on White Plains Road. Between 9 p.m. on Wednesday June 24 and 9 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, the men allegedly entered the pizzeria through the basement cellar door.

Once inside, police said that they forced the ATM open and removed an “undermined amount of money” from inside the machine.

Police describe the two individuals as follows:

The first is described as a male who wore a blue mask over his face and purple gloves. He was last seen wearing a baseball cap a gray hooded sweater, black pants and black sneakers.
