D’Rivera was joined by his longtime collaborators Brenda Feliciano and Pablo Zinger for an afternoon concert featuring 19th century Cuban danzas; Brazilian chorinhos; pieces by D’Rivera based on the rhythms of Venezuela; songs by Puerto Rican composer Jack Délano and Spanish-Catalán composer Xavier Montsalvatge and Adiós Nonino, one of Nuevo Tango master Astor Piazzolla’s most beloved works.
