Permits have been filed for the construction of an 11-story, 61-unit residential building at 1095 Jerome Ave. in the Highbridge section of the Bronx.

The proposed building would be 112 feet tall and yield 49,119 square feet of residential space. Eighteen of the 61 units will be set aside for affordable senior housing. The residences have an average unit scope of 805 square feet.

The development, which would be located between Anderson Avenue and Shakespeare Avenue, would also feature bicycle parking and a rear yard spanning 40 feet long. The property is also within close proximity to the 167th Street subway station, which services the B and D trains.

The applications were submitted by the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. The listed architect of record is Suzanna Tharian of Stat Architecture.

Demolition permits have not yet been filed. An estimated date for construction to be completed has not been given yet either.
