Permits have been filed for the construction of an 8-story residential building with 38 housing units at 3963 Saxon Ave. in the Kingsbridge Heights section of the Bronx.

The proposed building would be 74 feet tall and yield 31,967 square feet of space across the units. With an average unit scope of 841 square feet, these residences will most likely be rentals.

Two enclosed parking spaces are planned features for the property. The Ampark Neighborhood School and P.S./M.S. 95 Sheila Mencher are located very close to the property. There are also bus stops for the Bx1, Bx2 and Bx10 lines within close proximity to 3963 Saxon Ave.

The building applications were submitted by Yosef Beer. The architect of record for this proposed project is Nikolai Katz Architect.

Demolition permits were filed in February to knock down the existing 2-story building at 3963 Saxon Ave. An estimated completion date for the new building’s construction has not yet been provided.
