PHOTOS: City Island residents host first annual art walk

On Saturday, Oct. 10, neighborhood residents put on the first annual City Island Art Walk, where enthusiasts could browse art by local creators. The event was organized by Alexander Evans and Kate Dowd and featured eight places around City Island to view the artworks.

Participants made stops at the following places:

  • 321 City Island Ave., featuring art by Ron Terner
  • 282 City Island Ave. featuring a window installation by Marie Ucci
  • 280 City Island Ave., Kaleidoscope Gallery
  • 278 City Island Ave., Janos and Theresa’s Gallery
  • 276 City Island Ave., Mary Colby Studio and Gallery, featuring works by Mary Colby and portraits of the artists by Katherine Narducci and Mary Colby
  • 274 City Island Ave., Clipper Coffee
  • 270 City Island Ave., Rarities and Obscurities
  • 239 City Island Ave., 239 Play
