The 45th Precinct Community Council presented its Cop of the Month Award to officer Martha Nova during its meeting on Thursday, April 6 at the Hellenic School Gym.
Police officer Nova was recognized for intervening in a domestic violence dispute where the perp was a known drug user.
According to captain Carlos Ghonz, 45th Precinct commanding officer, much like previous Cop of the Month honorees, officer Nova will receive her own parking spot for the month.
