Police searching for man wanted for multiple thefts in the Bronx

The NYPD is looking for a man who is wanted for multiple thefts in the Bronx.

According to police reports, on Aug. 5, at 12:10 p.m., a 74-year-old man was standing on the southbound platform of the “6” line at the Longwood Avenue subway station, when a man stolen his cellphone and fled the scene.

Then four hours later the suspect struck again when he attempted to grab a 44-year-old woman’s purse as she was exiting the BX19 bus in the vicinity of Timpson Place and Austin Place.

The individual is described as a male, approximately 30-40 years old, with a dark complexion, medium build, bald and last seen wearing a gray long sleeve shirt, jeans, dark sneakers and eyeglasses.
