Punk steals cell phone from 62-year-old woman on south Bronx street

Police are looking for a teenager that robbed a 62-year-old woman in broad daylight on a south Bronx street last March.

The boy approached the woman within the confines of the 42nd Precinct while she was using her cell phone outside of a commercial strip. According to police, the incident took place by 961 Washington Ave. at about 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27.

He then snatched the phone from her hand and fled on foot to whereabouts unknown.

Police describe the boy as being in his teens and was wearing a black sweatshirt and pants.
