Rev. Alcides & Sarita Torres Community Garden Grand Opening

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the grand opening of the Rev. Alcides and Sarita Torres Community Garden on Saturday, July 9 at United Church of God, 184th Street on 4430 Third Avenue. Hosted by Assemblyman Jose Rivera, the garden was made possible through generous donations from Home Depot, Lucca Restaurant, Da Franco and Tony’s Ristorante, Icehouse Cafe and Bronx Pizzeria.
