On Monday, May 27, the Rudy Macina Peace Memorial Plaza’s Memorial Day Ceremony was held on Pelham Parkway and Williamsbridge Road. The event included the placement of a wreath by the monument, a rendition of ‘Taps,’ the raising of the colors by veterans’ organizations and remarks from local elected officials and veterans.
