Sr. Patricia Wolf, RSM, ‘62, president of St. Catharine Academy (SCA) for 18 years, celebrated her upcoming retirement with a luncheon on June 22 in the Great Hall at SCA with more than 50 family, friends and colleagues.

Kathy Muskopf, chair of SCA’s Board of Trustees, described Sr. Pat as “a visionary” during the formal program, pointing to their lobby with accessibility and an elevator as an example.

“Every decision Sr. Pat makes is rooted in providing the best Catholic Mercy education possible for her students,” Muskopf said. “Making that education possible comes with the responsibility of providing programs and resources that level the playing field with students from much wealthier areas of the city.”

She concluded by thanking Wolf “for being a wonderful mentor and great friend. Sr. Pat, thank you for your leadership and service during your long and successful career. Now it’s time to take a break.”

The Sr. Patricia Wolf, RSM Endowed Scholarship, valued at $300,000, was established by June Heffernan and Jack Heffernan to mark the occasion. The Patricia Wolf, RSM Legacy Fund, for present and future use, was initiated by the Board of Trustees. To date, the fund has raised $583,050.
