Villa Maria Academy’s National Junior Honor Society recently held a fundraiser for Catholic Guardians Services (catho‌licgu‌ardia‌n.org). The students in the society were able to raise over $2,100 for the charity through bake sales, a dress down day, collection during school basketball games, and parent donations. Rose Burkhart, an 8th grade teacher, is the leader of the school’s chapter of NJHS and helps coordinate all events.
