Children and their families enjoyed a fun-filled Sunday afternoon at this year’s inaugural Take Back Your Park at Bufano Park on Sunday, August 20.
The event was organized in response to a failed attempted child abduction at the park on Tuesday, July 18.
The family friendly celebration featured such activities as jacks, drawing, hula hoops, double-dutch, freeze tag and potato sack races while raising community awareness.
Clean-up for the event was provided by Partnerships for Parks and Community on Patrol.
