The Throgs Neck Little League scored a ‘grand slam’ with its first annual Family Day celebration on Saturday, July 30 at its Throgs Neck Boulevard clubhouse. The 65-year-old neighborhood staple hosted a family friendly celebration for everyone’s amusement featuring delicious barbecue food, carnival games and a trophy ceremony recognizing the league’s 2016 Playoff Champions.
