Travesias chef cooks at Locust Point CSA event

On Monday, October 26, the Locust Point Civic Association’s Community Supported Agriculture welcomed chef Dario Morillo from Travesias restaurant at their CSA distribution. Using vegetables from the weekly distribution, Morillo created a red quinoa grain bowl seasoned with organic virgin coconut oil, lime zest roasted butternut squash, caramelized beets, roasted baby potatoes, topped with toasted coconut, almonds, mint and cilantro. CSA director Chrys Napolitano and Tasty Ladies of NY founder Bailey Provetto hosted the event.
