Wilcox Avenue got brighter this holiday season when Frank Carpenter once-again decorated a 29-foot-tall tree in front of his home. The tree, which Carpenter and his father planted in 1978, has more than 1,200 lights, 175 ball-shaped ornaments and about 50 various other kinds of ornaments. The tree is located at 745 Wilcox Avenue.
