Woman hit, robbed during argument in Kingsbridge Popeyes

Police are looking for a man who hit and robbed a 25-year-old woman in a Kingsbridge Popeyes on Monday in the 50th Precinct.

It started after the man and woman became engaged in a verbal dispute while ordering at about 5:00 p.m. at the 119 West Kingsbridge Rd. location, according to the NYPD.

He then began repeatedly punching her and stole her CashApp card which was valued at $37, police reported.

Although the victim had minor bruises, she refused medical attention.

The man then fled through the Popeyes front door, went eastbound on Kingsbridge Road before getting into a silver BMW sedan, the NYPD stated.

Police describe the man as approximately 30-years-old, dark complexion, 220 pounds, 6’0″ tall with short dark hair.

He was last seen by police wearing a white Nike t-shirt with the word “Beast” on the front, grey Air Jordan shorts, black sneakers, a blue surgical mask and carrying a red bag.

The NYPD released this footage of the man’s tirade where multiple people were hit.
